Since high school students dislike the concept of history and introduced his books, Loewen (1996) used a lot of research to clarify the facts and theories taught in the American school history course. He gathered the trust of the reader by comparing the content included in the textbook with the omitted content. He accomplishes this by talking about some of the sparse facts taught in most textbooks and through the boredom of sympathy for most historical textbooks throughout all previous, present and future history students I will attract emotions.
Please imagine that I was surprised to read the textbook of history called "America, America" and write the following text for 10th grade students in the American school. Each tribe speaks the same language and has the same religious belief. "Unfortunately, in reviewing the history textbooks used in our schools, this inaccuracy compares to other things depicted by indigenous Americans and how they are recognized by society It is mild that some ordinary people, and to some extent former US President, still believe that Native Americans are "barbarians".
Historical textbooks discussing the discovery of European Americans often reveal the eurocentric bias that ignores the history of Native American. Books and videos that exploit Native American culture and spiritual traditions for profit. Some spiritual guidance of the "New Age" has made this mistake, and many Native Americans think this is wrong (Almeida, 1996, p. 4). Friedman (2007) insists that the stereotype of scapegoat and prejudice is psychological. He quotes the fact that society often develops strong prejudices against scapegoats and certain minority groups during difficult social and economic times. He then said that even the most rational people will have a biased attitude under pressure. The era of huge pressures and uncertainty of the economy is likely to make people non-logical, even paranoid and potentially biased. Discriminatory behavior can last and often happens
America is a country often referred to as a liberal state in textbooks, but history shows another more radical view. Howard Jin's "History of the American People" considers American history from a different perspective, but this viewpoint is not focused on making our history too beautiful - Zinn He deals with various problems in his book "The American History of the People". Adaptation of graphic novels does not cover all the details of American history, but the author provides a critical view of American history.
