Raymond Carver's Develpment

"Raymond Carver, a 40-year-old American writer, has written stores for years and has produced similar results with a smaller emotional scale" (Howie 1). Carver was born in Clatskane but graduated from Humboldt State University. He got corrupt and divorced before. He is also suffering from the symptoms of severe alcohol dependence. In his childhood, he wrote poetry for strange work, including civil servants and delivery staff. He died of cancer at the age of 50. One of his best-selling short stories is Raymond Carver's Cathedral.

A good way to write is a simple writing style, simple writing is difficult. I think that it was the editor Gordon Rish that made Raymond Carver the person who became a minimalist. A man in the story is always misunderstood by "blinds" from "movie" (Carver 1). The title "Cathedral" is important as it helps men to imagine the life of Robert. As blind Robert entered his life, it was difficult for men to form a relationship with Robert due to his visual impairment. The man also created a picture of what Robert looks like in his mind and how he acts. This is because this man has never interacted with the blinds and has come up with Robert's preconceived idea.
