On May 5, 1918, it opened as the 5th eastern district aircraft warehouse. Used by many British Air Force Technical Training Forces in the 21st century. There are maintenance units No. 13 for many years specializing in the assembly of Canadian made hawker hurricane during the Second World War and the repair of damaged hurricane.
During the war, the British Air Force Henro became one of Britain's largest maintenance force for the British Air Force, making a valuable contribution to warfare. RAF Henlow repaired a hurricane damaged in the battle that is part of our history, although it contributed (indirectly) to the British campaign.
Today, RAF Henro has a Joint Armament Management Team (JACIG), British Air Force Police Team, RAF Aviation Medical Center (RAF CAM), DE & S, 616 volunteer glider squadrons. The Queen's division (British army) is stationed in England Air Force Henlow. We also operate private flight schools on our website. No 3 Tactical Provost Squadron worked for RAF Henlow before and gradually moved to Royal Air Force Honington in 2015.
The "British War" in autumn of 1940 included German invasion of sea lions. First, the German Air Force began a strategy to destroy the British Air Force (RAF). First, the Germans concentrated on the Royal Air Force airport and radar station. However, when the British Air Force bomber unit (completely separated from the combat unit) attacked Berlin, Hitler retaliated and vowed to transfer the German Air Force to attack London. It is a big mistake to attack civilians using the limited resources of the German Air Force instead of airports and radars. Since the attacked civilians are far less important than the airports and radar stations that are now being overlooked it wasted that the German Air Force suddenly succeeded in wearing the British Air Force. London is not a factory city and British aircraft production was not hindered; indeed it rose. A total of approximately 43,000 civilians lost their lives. The German Air Force lost 1,733 aircraft and 915 British aircraft
