Introduction Image processing is one of the most important parts of planar photos. In the simulation image processing, manual processing image processing is performed in a dark room, and the machine is manually operated and stored in a rack. Looking back on history, the first founder of radiography was William Conrad Roentgen, a professor at the University of Wurzburg. While working in his laboratory on November 8, 1895, he studied X-ray generation (Carlton R.R., Adler A. M., 2006).
iNTRODUCTiON radiography is an important part of dental comprehensive patient examination, diagnosis and treatment programs. Film-based imaging continues to dominate the dental field; however, digital imaging is more widely accepted and its use is expected to increase (Tay et al., 2008). Digital radiography offers many advantages over traditional film systems, but many dentists have not adopted it yet, but some people do not use it to get maximum potential I will. The objectives of this research are (1) the report on development of digital dental radiography in New Zealand, (2) explanation on the type of X-ray imaging system currently used by general dentists and experts, and Radiography view
Digital radiography is an integral part of dentistry. Digital radiography does not require film or darkroom, reduces x-ray doses, and immediately produces images. Our research aims to compare the subjective image quality of the two digital dental radiography systems with the conventional dental film. In this study, we chose Sirona's Direct Digital (DD) "Digital" system, Vista-scan Semi-Direct (SD) digital system, and Kodak's "E" Speed Dental X- ray film. In this study, an endodontic extraction was performed (n = 25). Enamel, dentin, enamel - enamel junction, root canal filling (dental tip) and pseudo apical pathology were studied using three X - ray imaging systems. Statistical analysis of data to clarify the difference in subjective image quality
Subjective image quality comparison between two digital dental radiography systems and traditional dental films
