Racial Profiling by Police in Canada

Systematic discrimination has become part of Canada's past. In Canada, women, race, ethnic minorities, and indigenous peoples are discriminated. Policies such as the Human Rights Charter, State and Federal Human Rights Act, and various employment equality programs are included in the Canadian Constitution for combating discrimination. In spite of the universal rights and freedoms being given to these key documents, Canadian indigenous peoples and other ethnic minorities are still discriminated.

In Canada there is growing concern about the accusations that police are aiming for their visible minority racial profiling due to their ethnic background. In 2005 Kingston Police announced the first survey on racial profiling in Canada. This study focused on Kingston, Ontario. In Ontario, most residents are Caucasians. According to the survey, people with dark skin were 3.7 times more likely to be pulled by the police than white people, and Asians were found to be less likely to be pulled more than white and black people. Some police organizations condemned this survey and suggested that by increasing such surveys it would be possible to hesitate to pull out visible minorities.

Racial discrimination is one of the main causes of atrocities of social police. Atrocities of some police officers are considered racial profiling. This term (ethnic appearance) refers to situations where members of a particular ethnic group are considered likely to be involved in criminal activity due to race. Even without effective evidence that can be used to demonstrate these claims, it is often possible to be criticized for crimes. In most cases, racial profiling is created through early review of race in criminal investigations. For example, in the United States, Black Driving (DWB) is an existing racial image. This is because the descendants of African-Americans are subject to strict scrutiny by the police mainly due to their ethnicity. Innocent citizens are pulled by the police because of their race, or because they are blacks and there are no other reasons

The purpose of this paper is to provide data on ethnic features that can not be easily tidied up as an anecdote of a single driver. The author conducted a survey of African-American police officers at the Milwaukee police in Wisconsin State and gave personal experience on racial issues and racial profiling to police or institutions to identify racial discrimination against potential criminal acts Defined as the situation you used. It is unique. In this survey we did not investigate the racial profiling within the Milwaukee police station or its department and investigated which police and institutions believed that the police and police instigated racial profiling. Police understand the complexity, strategies and methods of law enforcement agencies. Therefore, black policemen have special influence on the observation of the rationality of what was stopped by the police.
