Races, Racism and Popular Culture

Unless we understand the relationship between modern race discrimination and various cultural mechanisms, the currency of contemporary racial discrimination can not be fully understood. However, the analysis of how ethnic and cultural differences in popular culture are expressed is amazing. Several studies have been done on the role of media in the formation of racial images, but there are relatively few arguments about other complex formats. That's why we want to focus on this chapter and explore the next two questions. How is racial discrimination popular? What is the technical foundation for spreading racist ideas? With these important issues in mind, I would like to see how the concept of race is shaped by the general culture form. The main purpose is to study the meaning of racial discrimination and the mediocrity of everyday life, the way the image and text intersect.

Race and ideology are a series of essays used to determine the role of language, symbolism and popular culture in maintaining race discrimination. This book begins with an introduction to the preface of editing by Arthur Spears and an introduction on "Race and Thought: Introduction" (11-58). Ask questions on how to make fixed concepts of men and women complex, and how pop culture can become a site for the formation and construction of race and sex.
