Quinceañera Traditions

Quinceañera is an event celebrated all over the world. The term "quinceañera" means English for 15 years. For a young woman only 15 years old, this is a luxurious birthday party. "Celebrating my papaya means starting a new adult life, which makes my responsibility more strong against my behavior" (Xochitl Comparan, Victoria, Texas). Various cultures celebrate this event in different ways, and some traditions change over time. Tradition may change, but the focus of this rich activity does not change.

We missed out a little detail about the tradition of quinceañera, which is the fact that using 'quinceañera' to refer to the party itself is a common misnomer (we have it through the article I used it!). Strangely, the scholars are completely uncertain about the source of tradition of quinceañera. Some people think that this is the adoption of the tradition brought by Spaniards.
