Martin Luther and the reformist monk of Germany Augustine, Martin Luther began Protestant reform of the 16th century. Lutter grew from the miner's son, but he did not maintain this lifestyle for himself. He lives in the era of general desire to reform the Christian church and crave for salvation. Martin Luther was born in Esleybain, Saxony. His father was a miner, so sending Martin to school and to the university was a very painful thing.

Martin Luther is a monk of the Holy Roman Empire. Luther raised doubts about the church and ultimately led Protestant reform. His views on Christianity fascinated many people, but they threatened the Roman Catholic Church and caused great messs in the country. Western Europe experienced a series of religious, social and political changes during the 16th century. Luther believes that Christian faith should be based on God, tradition, and faith. He is convinced that salvation is a free gift from God through faith. Luther said: "... the benevolent God guards us by faith" (Thornton 1983, 1). According to Luther, the church and the pastor are unnecessary. He also said that there is no difference between pastor and civilian. He said, "All Christians belong to spiritual property, and there is no difference between them" (Robinson 1). This obviously violates the authority of the Pope.
