School counselors play an important role in public and private school student life. Their main goal is to help the school's students succeed and make positive decisions to support the growth of students and individuals. This includes cooperating closely with students, teachers, school administrators. Counselors can support students in various ways at elementary, junior high or high school. Counselors work mainly in the office, but they also work in the classroom while observing the students to help determine the needs. They also need to lead students with problems and work with students with different abilities.
