Alexander Victoria was born in Kensington Palace on May 24, 1819. He is the only daughter of Victoria Maria Luisa of Edward, Duke of Kent, Saxony Coburg. In 1836, Queen Victoria's uncle Leopold and her first cousin's nephew, Prince Albert of Sachsen Coburg visited England. Shortly thereafter, Queen Victoria wrote in Leopold, likes Prince Albert whenever possible. After a while Victoria wrote these words, Leopold tried to combine the two. In 1839, Prince Albert was about to travel to the UK again. And it strained Queen Victoria very tense. He arrived in the UK court on October 10. Only five days later Queen Victoria proposed to him and he accepted it. They married on February 10, 1840.
