Online education has great advantages such as enabling on-demand learning experiences by enabling on-demand learning rather than a strict curriculum, but there are serious drawbacks as well. As higher education institutions struggle to meet the growing educational needs of non-traditional students, many people look to hybrid and online courses. These courses free classroom space and allow teachers to leverage technology to reach more audiences; hence, they are cost effective. But what kind of learning experience did these courses provide to students? Understanding student experience in these courses will affect the effectiveness of the educational strategy. In this research, we explain the characteristics of mixed and online courses, student's positive and negative experience in mixed and online courses, and how to improve hybrid and online courses. In this qualitative survey, 12 students participated in the mixed course and 41 online courses were interviewed. Other data comes from the class online forum. (1 table included)
