Shaw's play "Pygmalion" and the movie "Born Yesterday" have examined many of the same issues and functions. They portray that everyone thinks they are unrelated to what you think about yourself, but they resemble because they show you how you think and how you will meet you. The role of Billy and Elisa, and the similar attitude of Harry and Paul against Henry Higgins, shows this. They also shared plots that do not belong to someone and turned them into affiliation.

By writing Pygmalion, the George Bernard show borrowed at least two myths: the myths of Pygmalion and Galatea, and Cinderella. In the original Pygmalion myth, sculptors of the same name created Galatias as statues, then lived, and they have lived happily ever after. In Cinderella, the appearance of the girl miraculously changed; she went to the ball and danced with the prince; the prince later lived happily ever after (Prince, Berst, 6-8). In the first four actions of Shaw's Pygmalion, he followed these patterns. Flower girl turns into a woman. She has learned new ways of speaking, new words, new clothes and so on. We met a man's leader who seems to fit the role of Pygmalion and Prince. According to all the rules, we would like to marry them and send a happy life. As Maurice Valency suggested in 1973:
