Women feed their families, children go to school and are happily playing outside; planfield raised all the different things. Residents of this small village of less than 1,000 inhabitants did not experience the urgent and pressure of the city, but in years prior to 1957, some odd things in the village began to cook.

Ed Gaine was an isolated farm near Plainfield, Wisconsin, who grew up with insults, alcoholism, father, very domineering and religious enthusiastic mothers.
