ProtectOHIO Family Meeting Model

Based on the child service sector, the population of community families and children, we feel that our organization has achieved the expected goal of the ProtectOhio family team meeting process. There are parts that still need to be modified in the model, but I think that I made a big improvement over the past few years. In our institution, the ProtectOHIO family team meeting model is based on a set of principles and values. Oregon has two family protection models. The old model extended home service (IFS) began in 1982. The new model, Enhanced Family Service (IHS), is a pilot project that began in 1994.
