Properties of World Value by the World Heritage Committee

Currently, the World Heritage List has a heritage of 981 and forms part of the cultural heritage and natural heritage that the World Heritage Committee considers to have excellent universal value. In order to be registered in a World Heritage property the property must fulfill one or more specific cultural or natural criteria whose value must withstand tests of authenticity and / or integrity. As a means of determining the value of assets assumed as a world heritage, the Convention sets four standards for natural heritage and sets six standards for cultural relics.

Important places of natural heritage and cultural heritage can be registered as World Heritage by UNESCO World Heritage Committee.
