We deny that America's efforts to promote democracy in the Middle East is desirable. The value I have in this round is autonomy. Autonomy is defined as the power or right of a country or region that autonomously. When autonomy is exercised, it can serve as a model for people, and its benefits are reflected in government principles. The standard of this round is individualism. The Middle East should be allowed to follow up with its own government. Political individualism is related to purely defending the autonomy of the country.
For example, the current efforts to promote democracy in the Middle East may come from a normative perspective - that we believe that democracy leads to a better human rights situation -) Result In fact, our understanding of democracy suggests that it is difficult, expensive and uncertain about advertising in the Middle East (Carothers 1999, Ottaway & Carothers 2004). While this policy may still be the right policy, scholars can warn that the United States and its allies are largely "flying blind".
So what is the vitality of the western capital to promote democracy in the Middle East? Of course, we can discuss how much promotion of democracy should be given priority to foreign policy. But this missed a broader view: What is going on in Tunisia and Egypt is coming from within, this is not what the West is doing, and even the West is not involved. Therefore, it is difficult to see how reliability can be required for what the new conservatism is doing. For the same reason these events can also be used as counterfactual evidence to explain why a different course of action is desirable. A more inflammatory approach to democratization may have emerged at this point, but it may also be totally useless - an unverified and unverifiable claim. In short, there is no evidence of these uprisings that the new conservatism is not related to it, so the new conservatism is correct.
This understanding forms policies not only in the West but also in the Middle East itself. The U.S. government carried out "democratic promotion" in the Middle East as if it had introduced some foreign species. Reformers in the Arab world often repeat nonconformities with politicalized Muslim rumors and democracy in order to justify the brutal repression of political activists. Even after the riots that occurred in 2010, the larger power broker in the wider Middle East will be as concerned as the power of popular people rather than the source of sovereignty.
