Human civilization is in a state of constantly changing. It constantly changes and develops, and adapts to the way people interact with the earth in which we live, not just with others. We often call it an evolutionary interactive process. Progress can be defined as destruction and reconstruction of social, political and religious norms to promote a richer and equal society. "Discovery" of Europe's "new world" fundamentally changed the social, political and religious landscape of the world. It is probably more important than any other event in human history.
Defining the progress of the United States by definition means going to a more advanced stage or moving forward. One of the main questions they think when historians reviewed certain events and the events that formed the United States for a while is whether this particular event contributed to America's progress or not. In the 19th century, young Americans made major progress in mobility and trade. These advances in liquidity have enslaved people with commercial expansion of freedom.
The United States is defined by tolerance and opportunity. In that United States, the civil rights movement is a natural part of American progress, not contrary to the dark nature of the United States. In other words, the United States believes in promises of opportunity and equality even though it does not necessarily achieve it. But there is another story. In other words, white supremacist violence is not an exception, it is a rule. This story thinks that the United States is basically a white Christian country. This radical movement of racist speech and violence is basically seen in the two communities, Caucasian supremacists and Neo Nathi terrorists, and those they threaten.
However, progress in the United States has never been stable nor stable. Progress is not a straight line. Fit and start. Progress in the United States is difficult and controversial, sometimes even bleeding. It is still unbalanced, and sometimes two step forwards make us feel like we are going a step backward. But progress is bumpy. It is always done. But thanks to dreamers and innovators, and struggers and activists, progress is a characteristic of this country. "The arc of the moral world is long but it is leaning towards justice" (applause) I would like to quote Dr. Martin Luther King, who said it is leaning towards justice. I believe. But I also believe that the arc of our country, the arc of the world does not yield to justice, or freedom, equality, prosperity itself. It depends on our choice, especially at some turning point in history, especially when major changes occur, especially everything is in the middle of a battle.
