Professionalism and Humanism in the Practice of Medicine

Recently, medical care is characterized by deviation from professional consciousness and humanism once form the foundation of all medical care. Due to the current education and training medical model and the growing reliance on technology and over-burden of health care workers, the way physicians behave in the medical environment is changing. As a student at PA, my success as a healthcare provider is largely dependent on my technical responsibility and the successful success of patient interaction.

Standard medical practice is a medicine taken by a doctor (doctor) or medical expert who has D.O. (Bone doctor) degree. It is also run by other health professionals such as physiotherapists, physician assistants, psychologists and registered nurses. Standard drugs are also called biomedical or antagonistic therapies, western therapy, mainstream therapy, orthodontic therapy, or traditional drugs. Some standard practitioners are also CAM practitioners. CAM therapy requires evaluation using the same long-term careful study process as standard treatment. The safety and efficacy of standard cancer therapy has generally been studied through a powerful scientific process, including clinical trials of a large number of patients.

American health professionals and their training and practice institutions are rooted in Western medicine. The Western medical culture that began in ancient Greece highlighted the superiority of the human body in this disease. 2 In addition Western medicine emphasizes mastery of knowledge by scientific and empirical methods that are objectively supreme. Through these methods Western medicine is trying to reveal the universal truth about disease, its causes, diagnosis and treatment.

Western medicine, also known as orthodox medicine, is a traditional medical practice most of us know well. This is a system that physicians and other health professionals use for prescription drugs, surgery, various forms of treatment and radiotherapy for patients and treat symptoms. One advantage of western medicine is that it works quickly. Through the use of laboratories, X-rays and other procedures, injured patients can go to the emergency room within hours and find the cause and solution of their medical problems.
