Delve is an Office 365 application that helps you extract data from social applications such as SharePoint, OneDrive, Yammer, Office Graph and find information and documents that are most likely to be most relevant to you. Includes components for search, social networking, and machine learning
Everyone in the organization has a profile page in Delve. On your profile page, others can check your contact information and contact you to see the person you work with and the document you are working on. The current document is not displayed. You can view only the documents that you have read.
You can create bulletin boards to share with groups of people. This makes it easier for teams to collect project documents, find content and share it with other users. When collaborating on a document, a colleague can open the same document at the same time and check what other users did while processing the document at the same time.
Extracts content from documents that are shared with you as Office 365 documents stored in OneDrive, Office 365 SharePoint, or email attachments. Extract relevant documents using information from Office Graph. Office Graph collects insights about what you and the people around you are working on. When you and a colleague view or change the same document, you will receive a signal that Office Graph is probably working together. This signal is then combined with other signals. Who is the person you most e - mail, who shares the document with you, who shares it with your boss. A summary of these signals will improve on related documents that will be displayed later on Delve's homepage.
Delve is an intelligent dynamic interface for the search function. Given the cooperative nature of Office 365, Delve displays content of interest to a particular individual at a particular time. This also helps to identify experts on topics on topics within the organization. By monitoring document creation and usage, Delve creates a personalized user feed that can be used both as an advanced search feature or as an employee directory.
