Herbert C. Kerman is a social psychology lecturer at Harvard University. Currently he spends a year at Oslo's Institute of Social Studies and spends part of his time to further study the influence of a one-year stay in the United States on Scandinavian students' self-image. For this purpose, management can divide the main purpose into simpler goals. Management needs to thoroughly analyze short-term goals and make them achievable and ambitious.
