Mathematics is an important part of today's society. Everyone uses mathematics at some stage of their lives, from the moment they learn the basic principles of mathematics to the time when children become social workers. An important time to learn mathematics is childhood, and mathematical concepts and principles can be handled more easily. But this life period is also in my life and the children do not have a high degree of comprehension like adults so the information has to be broken down in a very basic moment.

Principle 1: Teachers in charge of mathematics at all levels understand the important concepts and procedures of mathematics, and broadly understand the curriculum of K - 12 mathematics. They do not only limit mathematics and mathematics to procedural knowledge. They understand the structure within the field, the past and the future of mathematics, and the interaction between technology and fields. Mathematics educational standards are divided into two parts to reflect the difference between content and educational knowledge. Reflecting INTASC Core Principles # 1, understanding mathematics provides what you need for you to begin teaching mathematics in every grade. Common standards are prepared for all of these first-time teachers. Additional standards for content knowledge have been proposed to distinguish between advanced topics and understandings that are necessary to teach mathematics at middle and high school.

To use mathematics as an interdisciplinary K - 12 's consistent framework, all mathematics teachers need to share a common core knowledge base on mathematical concepts and procedures. The core knowledge base can be divided into digital systems and number theories, geometry and measurement, statistics and probability, functions, algebra and calculation concepts, and discrete mathematics aspects. Mathematical teachers also deepened their understanding of mathematical structures that control these mathematical aspects. Through understanding of these mathematical concepts, procedures and mathematical structures, teachers will help students achieve new understanding in the process of developing mathematical ability.
