Problem of the Four-Day School Schedule

However, according to a survey by Georgia State University, this four-day week did not adversely affect the school's performance. There may be more time outside the classroom. Students can do self-study and homework more freely, receive private counseling and group counseling.

Several recent studies have been published recently, but there are few studies on school weeks for 4 days. Many of them have examined Colorado schools - over one third of the districts have 4 day schedule - their findings are different. Three independent studies compared Colorado's four-day course with the five-day program, and several different results were obtained. There is no difference in the timetable of the day. The third 5-day schedule shows slightly better academic results in some areas (although it is not statistically significant).
