If multiple users can access database objects, you can use privileges to control permissions on those objects. Every object has an owner. If the user can change the objects owned by other users, the permissions are controlled. Permissions are granted or revoked by the instance administrator, the user with ADMIN authority, or the privilege on a specific object granted or revoked by the owner of the object.
The section "Providing Object Authorization by Authorization" in the Oracle TimesTen In-Memory Database Operation Guide details in detail how to grant and revoke privileges on various objects. In addition, the following sections briefly describe all the privileges necessary to perform a TimesTen operation.
System privileges are the right to perform certain operations or perform operations on specific types of objects. Objects include tables, views, materialized views, synonyms, indexes, sequences, cache groups, replication schemes and PL / SQL functions, procedures and packages. Only the instance administrator or a user with ADMIN authority can grant or revoke system privileges.
Allow users to insert arbitrary tables into the database. In addition, users can insert arbitrary tables using public or private synonyms of the table.
Object privilege is the ability to perform certain operations on an object or access other user objects. Objects include tables, views, materialized views, indexes, synonyms, sequences, cache groups, replication schemes and PL / SQL functions, procedures and packages.
The object owner has all object privileges on the object and can not be revoked. An owner of an object can grant object privileges on that object to other database users. A user with the ADMIN privilege can grant and revoke object privileges to users who do not have the object to grant privileges.
You can grant users SELECT privileges on synonyms or views without explicitly granting SELECT privileges on the original table.
Some privileges give other privileges. For example, the ADMIN privilege grants all other privileges. The CREATE ANY TABLE system privilege grants the CREATE TABLE object privilege. Table 7-3 shows the hierarchy of privileges
ADMIN grants CACHE_MANAGER privilege, although the cache group permissions have independent hierarchies.
The CACHE_MANAGER privilege also includes the ability to start and stop caching and replication agents and perform cached grid operations.
Every user in the database has the PUBLIC role. In newly created TimesTen databases, by default, PUBLIC has SELECT and EXECUTE privileges on various system tables and views, plus PL / SQL functions, procedures, and packages. You can use this query to display a list of objects.
You can not undo permission to grant PUBLIC as part of database creation. To view a list of these permissions, use the following query:
Secure Xenix's basic access rights include read, execute, write, and null access. (Another privilege setuid - gid is defined for the executable file, this privilege is explained in section 5.8.3 below.) These permissions are displayed to the user, and the kernel interprets different objects in different ways. Therefore, the actual privilege set will be considerably larger than the above basic set. In this section, you define the relationship between the access rights of each object type of Secure Xenix and the access rights (patterns) of the Bell-LaPadula model.
What is privilege? What does this mean? Is privilege inherited or acquired? As a resident of the United States of color, I understand that the privileges of this country are congenital and genetic. The privilege I am speaking is white privilege. Two prominent writers / scholars shared their expert analysis of the subject on the subject of white privilege issues; these writers / writer scholars are white feminists Peggy McIntosh and African Beverly . Tatum
I believe that white matter privilege is a term created by force to protect us as a wedge between nations. As a citizen, I mean a human without privilege. As far as I can tell, people who have money have privileges regardless of their skin color. Do not believe me? Please ask Bill Cosby. If I commit a third of atrocities in Cosby, I will guarantee you should enter jail. I believe that the only victims are those who think they are victims. I am responsible for my life. We are everyone. It is time to try to solve them together by gathering together, not by blaming each other due to our own problems. We need to complain our responsibility, reduce it, and start taking positive action. There is no doubt that unfair treatment will be done every day in the United States. But they are far from targeting colors. They are usually class-specific
