Prison Project

The Lionheart Prison program supports education, rehabilitation, and re-entry for men and women imprisoned in US prisons and prisons. At the center of this program is a strong emotional literacy program that is home to treatment. This program is designed to guide criminals in prisons to criminal activity, to take responsibility for criminal acts, to change the patterns of lifelong violence and poisoning, and to evaluate life experiences to build productive lives, Give prison encouragement and necessary support to prison.

Hundreds of correction professionals, pastors, and volunteers teach houses of treatment in prisons, prisons and re-entry projects at home and abroad. Corrective experts report that the home of treatment is the most effective solution they have seen in the growth and transformation of prisoners. The expanding prison population continues to be a major national crisis. Lionheart promises to take an active attitude and to play an indispensable role to redefine our prisons and become a place of positive healing growth. The book "Cure House" is issued in more than 90,000 copies, of which 50,000 copies are distributed free of charge to individual prisoners, prison libraries and prison plans.

Founded as a Community Enhancement Art Project (ACE) in 2006, the prison project in Queensland Shakespeare is the first Shakespeare Prison program in Australia and is still the only one in Australia. The show is also a pioneer of Shakespeare and Opustorbo's depressed method theater. RTA was established in Sing Sing in 1996. Today, we work in five prisons in New York State and are providing innovative programs in the fields of theater, dance, creation, acoustics and visual arts. RTA is working on using creative art as a tool for social and cognitive transformation across the prison wall. RTA will change my life!

The art and culture in the prison are projects funded by the European Union within the framework of the 2007-2013 cultural plan. It is being promoted by Tuscany, Fondazione Michelucci (Project Leader), Manchester College, Prison Art Foundation, Berliner Literarische Aktion, Departamentde Justícia - Generalitat de Catalunja.
