Pride and Consequence: A Comparison of Creon and Haimon

In the play, Antigone Sophocles presents a tragic result of the bloated self. The theater was placed in Thebes, Greece, before a common era. At the end of the second scene, the audience learned that Antigone was the son of a fiancé of Cleon Haimeng. Haimen has a reason to get angry. After all, his father took away his bride. However, he went to Kryon with respect and love, not sorrow and pain. Quiet and gentle, Haimeng is a voice of wisdom and reason. He begged Klein to surrender and noticed that he is not the only person who can take the reason. Haimen asked his father to forget his pride and anger and to get advice from others. Unfortunately Kryon was not moved. He met with a compromise and the middle Haimeng, but he was angry, he was not convinced that his son was sold to women and criminals. This is the beginning of Creon spiral drop. He was convinced of his righteousness and alienated his son. Haimen left a curse and never returned. But he had made a promise before departing: "Then she needs to die but her death will lead to another person" (329)

Antigone. Antigone violated the laws of Kryon and forbade the burial of Polian. According to Zeus law, she gave brothers a symbolic burial and was sentenced to death by Crillon. HAEMON, or Creon 's son and her fiancé HAIMON, shared her death and Treresias warned Creon is too late. Alcmaeon and Eriphyle. Alcmaeon killed his mother Eriphyle according to his father's order (see above). In pursuit of Nemesis, he married the daughter of King Fergus and came to Arcadia who gave him a necklace of Harmonia. As a father of a horse, he was polluted by this land and exiled. He came to the daughter of God of the wedding river in the western Greece, Akarooscarilloe, he gave Harmonia's necklace and found it in Arcadia. His son became the founder of the Greek Akanania region.
