American President John F. Kennedy was assassinated during his presidential election. In the history of the United States there were assassinations of four presidents. Lincoln was first assassinated in 1965, then became Garfield and McKinley in 1881, and our recent historical assassination took place in Kennedy, Dallas, Texas in 1963. This article will focus on Kennedy and his assassination. John F. Kennedy was born in Brookline, Massachusetts, and he is the second oldest of the nine. He has five sisters, three brothers, Joseph, Rosemary, Catherine, Eunice, Patricia, Robert, Jean, and Edward. John, Edward, and Robert entered politics. The Kennedy family has been actively involved in politics. Ross Kennedy is the daughter of John F. Fitzgerald, Mayor of Boston, Massachusetts, and is called "Honey Fitz." At the age of thirteen he went to a private school in Canterbury, New Milford, Connecticut, but he was sick and he had to leave school. Then he graduated from Choate Prep School of Wellingford, Connecticut.
