Preserving American Freedom

Protecting the American Freedom is a digital history project exploring the complex history of American freedom through 50 documents gathered by the Pennsylvania Historical Society. Detailed transcription and annotations of 50 documents from 1655 to 1978 were presented with the original digital fax and were backed up through historical essays, biographies, graphic materials and educational tools tools. The project is funded by Bank of America.

Modules and lesson plans are part of 'Protection of American Freedom'. And it shows and displays 50 valuable documents in a large catalog of Pennsylvania Historical Society. In this project, documents are digitized through postings, annotations, and other user-friendly elements. This will help teachers and students better understand the materials in the course. Various conventional evaluation methods can be applied to these measured values. Conventional assessments include various tests (multiple selections or fills) highlighting all three documents, articles, or short papers. Possible paper tips for writing core standard CC.8.6.11-12.A are as follows. Write a short article to answer this question to include evidence from all three documents and an understanding of current events: How about gender struggle? Did equality change in the past 200 years?
