Preposition

Prepositions are words used to link nouns, pronouns, or phrases to other words in the sentence. Prepositions are usually short words, usually placed just before a noun. In some cases, there is a preposition before the verb.

There are two very important rules when using prepositions. Because they are a bit vague, you need to practice to learn prepositions and use them correctly in the sentences. When dealing with propositions, 1: 1 translation is usually impossible so even the most advanced English students have some difficulties at the beginning.

The first rule is that a specific proposition must be used to clarify the relationship between words in sentences. Although most prepositions are interchangeable, to some extent

There are three types of prepositions: time preposition, position preposition, and orientation preposition.

Prepositions represent the relationship between a noun or pronoun and another word in the sentence. The prepositional phrase includes the preposition, its object, and the modifier of the object.
