Week 9 Papers 1 Power and Power The power and authority are closely related, but power and authority are two different concepts. Power is necessary to establish authority, but it differs completely from authority (research note of the ninth week). In the course study note, power is defined as "the ability of an individual or group to gain what they want, despite the opposition." Power comes from various causes such as knowledge, experience, uncertainty of the environment (Denhardt et al., 2001).

The difference between power and authority is that authority regulates power. Power is influenced by power, and power is dominated by authority. In democratically governed countries, voting rights are assigned to the public for election. Congress gives the right to vote. The elected person prescribes the power of the people, but his power is limited by legislative representatives. The monarchy government gives the king whole power. King is the supreme leader of the country. He did not hold power through the election process. The kingship is due to inheritance

The term authority is often used to specify legitimate use of rights. Authority is defined as a political rule established within a community or state. 4 Weber confirmed two powers, power and compulsion. Power is considered legal and can be considered more effective as it must be licensed. In other words, people who obey first agree to obey their authority. Political power and authority can be regarded as legitimate power, power is power (power is forced to bid others). This paper argues that both types of power are based on power, and if not followed it will be punished for its legitimacy. Exercising force can be a form of control from one person to another. It is necessary to pay a certain degree of attention to large scale accumulation by the system and utilization of power. Once this power is identified it will be distributed to different institutions.
