When comparing the maximum consumption of fruits and vegetables with the minimum consumption, the risk of cardiovascular disease was 0.68 and the risk of heart attack was 0.47 (Liu, 2013). With increasing fruit and vegetable intake, the risk of CVD is reduced by 20% to 30% (Liu, 2013). In a study of 10,000 people there was a negative correlation between the number of fruits and vegetables ingested per day and the most beneficial of these risk factors and green leafy vegetables (Liu, 2013).

Before explaining the advantages of bioflavonoids, let's briefly introduce the causes of them. Bioflavonoids, also known as flavonoids, are plant pigments that cause red, yellow and blue pigmentation in flowers. These are also present in large amounts in certain herbs, vegetables and foods. In fact, one of the main reasons for the health of citrus fruits and green tea extracts is the content of those flavonoids.

Many scientific studies have shown that drinking tea on a regular basis can bring significant health benefits. After all, it is vegetable food. Therefore, tea may help keep you healthy.

Dark chocolate contains high levels of beneficial flavonoids that reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease and certain cancers. Of course, high levels of flavonoids, such as onions, tea and grapes, are included in many other foods, but all of them can be beneficial to cardiovascular health. However, as the amount of chocolate processing increases, the amount of flavonoid retained decreases. Indeed, many chocolate confections contain too much sugar and other additives, along with too much flavonoids, to gain health benefits. Dark chocolate is healthier than milk mix, because cacao content is high, purity is high, and no milk fat is contained (pure cacao butter only).
