Some of the reasons for this confusion are attributed to the Irokoi heritage living in the area before the 17th century, the countries of Neutrality, Seneca, Mohawk, Cayuga and Wenda. The ruins of Wendat Village dating back to the 12th century were excavated in Toronto, including Scherborough's Wendart Bone Store. The people of Wenda moved north to the Georgian Bay district and took the area to six countries. Mississauga exiled the Iroquois which arrived in the latter half of the 17th century or the beginning of the 18th century and settled on the banks of Lake Ontario including the port financing zone.
The archaeological and oral history of Iroquoisers, Sauans, and Algonquinans showed that Iroquois migrated to the St. Lawrence Valley in the 12th and 13 th centuries and then divided into three separate groups . The Quebec group, they were heading south along the Great Lakes, and the third group related to Tuscolora went straight along the east coast. According to Susquehannocks (from New York to Maryland State of Iroquois), few details came from the valley in the west, but was driven to the east by the enemy. It is believed that the Mississippi River is meant by those who wrote it, but there are no Iroquois in the area - but not in Ohio. The Iroquois ceremony of Horatio Hale also seems to support this, and Iroquoians sometimes detailed the mention of the Ohio State and the Mississippi River.
