Postmodern perspective on health and biomedical model We decided to compare the postmodern health concept and biomedical model. The view of the biomedical model of the body is mechanical. Engels argued that he said that the body is a machine and that the malfunction of this machine is sick. He also believes that the doctor is the only one who can repair the machine. This leads to many biomedical perspectives. First, it shows how doctors treat individuals as a group and diagnose and treat them.

In this article, I will explain and analyze six health and disease models. These are religion, biomedicine, mind and body, humanity, existence and super personality. Of the six models, only one is a clear reductionism: biomedicine. Everyone else is the whole theory. Religious models, humanitarian models, and hyper-personal models can be regarded as models of diseases or diseases, health models, biomedical models, psychosomatic models, and existential models. Suppose different models describe different but related ways to represent health and disease. Different groups of societies, including different groups of medical services (doctors, nurses, and patients), may consider health and illness from different models. This is thought to have a major impact on medical services

The biomedical model is actually used before development of the biological psychosocial model. The biomedical model shows that health has no pain, defects, or illness. It focuses on physical factors that influence health, such as biochemistry, physiology, pathology. It does not include social and psychological factors. In 1977, George L. Engel asked about the advantage of the biomedical model through the famous journal science. He also explained the need for a more comprehensive new model. He said, "In order to understand the determinants of illness and to provide a basis for getting rational treatment and health management model, the medical model must also consider the patient and their social environment Hmm". Therefore, in the same year, the living psychosocial model was theorized by L. Engel.
