Post Traumatic Stress and the Brothers' Relationship in The Red Convertible by Louise Erdrich

Henry Fossdick once said, "The tragedy of war is that it is best for humans to do the worst thing in human beings." There was a conflict between Henry and Lyman, for the return of the Vietnam War changed the perception of reality. Henry's experience in the Vietnam War was the responsibility for the unintended consequences of their brotherly love. Henry's war due to fear, emotion, and fear was the cause of his "posttraumatic stress syndrome [PTSD]". It shaped his own reality perception and his relationships with his brothers Lehman and the strong connection they shared.

The relationship between brothers usually lasts, but in the short story "Red Convertible" by Lewis Erdrich, the relationship between the main characters Lehman and Henry has changed. Erdrich led the audience to understand the experience experienced by these brothers and how they understood their relationship. I know that Leiden and Henry are by no means the same and will try to solve their relationships until they eventually fall because of the experience he encountered in his life. Louis Erdrich's "Red Convertible" is a short story about a collection of stories called "Love Medicine". The short story focuses on the relationship between Henry and the brothers of Lehman Martin. From the beginning of the story, the two brothers are intimate relationship, and we decided to jointly buy a red convertible. After buying a car, they drove in summer and drove all the way to Montana. Most of the summer, my brothers are on a business trip. They also got on a girl named Susie on his way back to Alaska.
