HR Giger is a famous magical realist artist. In February 1940 he was born in a small town in the outskirts of Germany and Giger grew up in an ordinary middle class family environment. His father is a local pharmacist. As he was young, he was instantly cursed in an instant as a professional promoter of a pharmaceutical company that received a human skull. He soon became interested in all the dark and strange things and later gained inspiration from works of Salvador Dali and Jean Cocteau. After graduating from high school, Giger continued his research on architecture and industrial design at Applied Art School in Zurich. He soon extended the network of his friends, including people involved in all aspects of art, and creatively oiled him at his free time.

In 1966 Giger began working as an interior designer and completed early paintings such as Birth Machine, The Blinds, Kleiner Kopf, Nach den 120 Tagen von Sodom.
