Positive Impacts of Technology

A 21 year old standard adult spent 250,000 e-mails and spent 5,000 hours of video games and 10,000 hours of mobile equipment (Lei, 2009). When people hear the word technology, they think about microwave, TV, car, NASA, different types and traffic. Still, technology is long before these discoveries. Technology is controversial. In the past, people were living a simple life without technology. They used candles to move houses and lanterns in the dark, cooked using fire, and shared news with newspapers and post.

The positive impact of technology on education Today, technology is everywhere in education. Many classrooms and computers in the school have a computer laboratory. Alternatively, students can use at least many computers in the library. In my thesis I would like to discuss the positive and negative impact of several technologies on education. During school, technology has experienced various important stages of education. When I was in elementary school I remember seeing that there might be only one computer in the whole school. Upon entering junior high school, each classroom has two computers that students can use, and the library has a small computer lab with a computer course.

I think that technology gives good and bad aspects to our society's family life. However, I think that the way of positive influence is negative. In this semester the paper focuses on mobile phones, the Internet, and home security systems. These are just a few of the technologies that affect family life. First of all, I will explain the positive effect and then explain the negative effect. By using e-mail, they can talk to each other more, thereby making the family more intimate.
