Portrayal of Americans in Several Short Stories

Tobias Wolfe defines the ability of Americans to hide the truth and try to remove the burden of life inside "hunters in the snow". In many cases, Mr. Wolf talked about lies in the book. Frank did not tell those people that he was suffering from the nanny and that Kenny was asked to shoot the dog and that the lug of a tub he was fat was having a gland problem I told a lie. All these lies will increase tension and ultimately cause conflict. When Kenny told a joke that he was ready to shoot a bathtub, the bathtub reacted automatically and shot Kenny in the stomach.

In short, this book discusses some examples of typical American history lessons that can not convey the entire story. For example, the writer says the American history course does not usually talk about the Vietnam War, but it happened a while ago. This made me realize that we did not discuss the Vietnam War in my own history lesson! This book tells me that there are more stories besides what we see on the water or what we teach at school like my story about Indians. I kept talking about these stories and gained inspiration from using them as my career.
