Portrait of a Cartographer

The portrait of the map creator needs to decide the coloring of the map. There are pale yellow, coral pink, olive green, burned orange and magenta. A place to place the deepest blue hue. Dana Tomlin may have created the term "graphic modeling" in his doctoral dissertation (1983), but later used it in his title "Geography Information System and Mapping Modeling" (1990) . Mapping Modeling is the process of generating, processing, and analyzing multiple themes in the same field. Tomlin uses raster layers, but overlay methods (see below) can be used more commonly. Operations on the map layer can eventually be combined with algorithms that are coupled to simulated or optimized models.

In 1507, German cartographer Martin Waldseemüller made a world map, and as an Italian explorer, in commemoration of the cartographer, Amerigo Vespucci (Latin: Americus Vespucius), we named it the land of an American hemisphere. The first documentary evidence of the phrase "United States" comes from a letter by Stephen Moylan, Esq dated January 2, 1776. Aide of George Washington, and the Supreme Commander of the Great Army. Moiran told Colonel Joseph Reid, who is hoping to bring "sufficient and sufficient power of the United States" to Spain to support the revolutionary war. On 6th April 1776, Virginia Communiqué of Williamsburg, Virginia announced anonymous article "The United States of America".

The world's first world map of 1507 was by the cartographer Martin Waldseemuller, but the most important geographical contribution during this period was the Mercator map. Flanders' Gerardus Mercator was the first cartographer who tried to show the circular world exactly on the plane, in particular showing his performance for assist navigation. However, many geographers are dissatisfied with Mercator 's map being used today. The reason for frustration is that Mercator's land group will be greatly distorted as it approaches the pole. It is a map of Mercator that is found in more grade school classrooms, and is based on the psychological image of the more people's planet.
