Pools and Riffles Within a River: The River Teme

Using the results of a recent field survey by Leigh Brook, you can see the differences in morphology, hydrology and sediment between Pool and Riffle. There are pools and flocks in the river. The river is shallow and fast white waters, but the swimming pool is deep and slow flowing place. Rocks are clearly visible to the flock, but they are sinking in the pool. The pool is usually on a crooked road, and the group is usually found in the straight part of the aisle. And, it is often formed very close to each other and in turn.
