Explanation of journal information: Since its founding in 1940, Journal of Thought History (JHI) as a publication medium for knowledge history research is a common concern of scholars and students in a wide range of fields. It is dedicated to promoting the diversity of regional coverage, time range, methodology. JHI defines the history of thinking in a broad and universal way, including philosophical history, literature and art, natural science and social science, and religious and political thought. We also encourage scholarships at the intersection of cultural and intellectual history, such as the history of books and visual culture. Movement wall: 3 years (What is a moving wall?)
"Mobile Wall" represents the period between the latest issue available in JSTOR and the latest journal. The moving wall is usually expressed in terms of age. In rare cases, since the issuer selected the "zero" mobile wall, the current problem will be made public on JSTOR as soon as it is issued.
For example, if the current year is 2008 and the journal has a 5 year moving frame, you can get the 2002 article.
How are you interested in Alt-Right in classical? On the other hand, it is very interested in the ancient cultural capital. Articles posted on the New York Times yesterday showed how they could use classical references - "Thru Rubicon", "To Olympus." On the other hand, this movement seems not interested in understanding the ancient world in the shallowest way. I learned this interest from my personal experience, ie Twitter's Troll and comments on Eidolon's articles. (In sublime playing of the red pill image, the troll Facebook cover photo is Hitler's Photoshop image from the matrix, not stopping the bullet wall.) But instead of discussing the anecdotes based on my own experience I am going to share their statements
The ancient ancient is a collective term of long-term cultural history centered on the Mediterranean, including a combination of ancient Greek and ancient civilizations of ancient Rome, known as the Greek-Roman world. This is an era in which Greek and Roman societies flourish and have great influence on Europe, North Africa and the Middle East as a whole. Traditionally it started with the earliest record of Homer's poetry Homer and continued until the emergence of Christianity and the decline of the Roman Empire. It ended in the classical culture of late ancient culture and was integrated into the early middle ages. Such a wide range of historical and territorial samples cover various cultures and times. "Classical ancient" may also refer to the idealized vision of the word "glory of Greece, greatness of Rome" that people later said in the words of Edgar Allan Poe. These ideals were preserved and imitated by the Romans.
