In recent years, the role of teachers in New Zealand's national primary education system has changed dramatically. Very teacher-oriented chalk and conversation classes have evolved into an open and fun place to respond to individual children's learning rhythms and learning styles. The aim of this paper is to explore and discuss how different adults interact with children at an early stage of elementary school and how the game negatively affects their learning positively or negatively . First, TeWhāriki was released in 1996 and we will explore the changes in the main teaching methods since the curriculum of New Zealand was announced in 2007.
Fantasy game: Children learn to experiment with new characters and situations through fantasy games, experience language and emotion. Children learn to transcend their own thought and creation world. They take on the role of adults and learn to think in an abstract way. Children develop imagination and express concepts, dreams and history using new words and numbers. Cooperative game: Cooperative game starts before preschool. Play is organized as a group goal. At least one leader, children must be inside and outside the group. As children shift to the importance of understanding societal contracts and regulations from the self-centered world, children begin the game using rules. Part of this development is done when learning games such as Follow the Leader, Simon Says, Team Sports. In regular games, we teach children the concept of rules that everyone must protect in their own lives.
Children can learn by working with others. You provide an environment for your child to play with others. As your child grows you can offer toys, materials and exercise equipment so that they can play with others. It is important for children to know that games are important throughout their lives.
The fundamental difference between adult games and children's games is that adults generally follow a fixed, pre-established rule and children are generally considered to be able to modify rules. As adults play baseball, rub them, do almost anything, they will obey or follow the "official" rules of the game. By contrast, when children play, they usually obey the rules (Youniss, 1994). Even if they play games like baseball and scrabble, adults do not exist to enforce official rules. (Story about how I learned this lesson, please look at the scrabble for two 9 year old girls, see here.) This is because children's games are usually more like adult games It is one of the creative ways.
The game is very special. It is very interesting for children's development as well as interesting. Play is one of the most important means for children to learn. Through nature's activities, they create roles that mimic the behavior of adults. Children play a variety of roles in thinking, creating, imagining, communicating, choosing, solving problems, risking, acquiring physical skills, and social interaction. The game essentially motivates and gives the children the freedom to measure tolerance through measurement, test and responsibility adult parameters. Play will support learning, promote language and social development, and enhance creativity for children and adults. Children learning healthy game skills will learn to feel competent, have a sense of success, make friends and interact with others in a non-violent way. Through the game, children can learn more efficiently than people think.
