The plant database provides standardized information on vascular plants, moss, moss, enoki mushrooms and lichens in the United States and its territory.
The plant is experimenting with a new, more modern mapping system. Our new system allows users to scroll left and right to zoom in and out. With higher scale zoom level, users can see county level data
PLANTS redesigned the profile page of species and genus that came to be displayed as labels rather than the whole large page. Your feedback will help us to improve our new design and welcome your comments
The bilingual guide of weeds in Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands is now available from the US Department of Agriculture NRCS. It is not only useful in the Caribbean, it is also useful in the temperate to warm regions throughout the Americas and beyond.
My experience with this project is very interesting. The most difficult part is to measure a cumbersome process around all plants. Finding places where plants can find sunlight without getting wet with sprinklers is a tricky process. I finally moved the table from the courtyard to the backyard and placed all the plants on it. It is tricky to go to the library to find articles on magazines about my subject (breeding of plants). After a long search, my mother called me and told me that she happened to have a mowing on reaping plant propagation by chance. To my surprise, she was not joking, there is a Sunset Magazine article about how to pick leaves and use them to make plants. This is very useful for background research on my theme. Finally, after printing the final draft before Sunday afternoon, my body was full of pride. I made this project myself and I am proud of the result.
In current experiments related to our subjects, plants die after 4 to 6 weeks of exposure to fluorescent and incandescent lamps. These plants die due to light being too close to the plant, burn plants, and wither the plant leaves. Another reason for the death of these plants is that the light to the plants is too long. Our experiment will be different as we guarantee that the light from the plant is farther to ensure that our plants do not die in the same short time due to overheating. Also we will keep the plants for only 12 hours during the day. Also, most outdoor plants using the sun as a light source are exposed for the same time.
