Picturing immigration: how the media criminalizes immigrants

Based on this investigation, we will examine the image of immigrants, border, and legitimacy in immigration media coverage. For this purpose, we gathered a unique set of image data published in three major national news magazines on entry and entry in the United States from 2000 to 2010.
