As part of the course, students will meet with teachers and other staff and discuss the situation, ideas and concerns of the day. Students learn to become speakers and listeners. This is a way to nurture community consciousness and mutual respect.
Elementary school counselors will help students learn the skills and attitudes they need to succeed in school. They emphasize students that the classrooms are their workplace, skills of communication, decision making, interpersonal relations and career awareness are essential to their success. Based on these skills the elementary school students teach, one of the main focus of the secondary / junior counselor is to provide services that satisfy student's professional, personal / social and educational needs and concerns. This level of counselors will help expand career awareness and exploration activities to support the development and use of short-term and distance education and career planning. This includes the organization of high school programs for 4 years, but it is not limited to this.
