On January 5, 1911, Phi Nu Pi organization was established. Unfortunately, Phi Nu Pi has some financial problems. During this period, they explored the possibility of merger with Phibeta Sigma Brotherhood. The request was rejected and Phi Nu Pi was backed by the White Greek organization Kappa Alpha Order. The name became Kappa Alpha Nu, and some symbols were modified to mimic the Kappa Alpha Order. The Kappa alpha order is an all white southern Korea group, and Kappa Alpha Nu is not so, so some Kappa alpha group members call Kappa Alpha Nu Kappa Alpha Nig.
