Physics of Salsa Dancing

Salsa has become an increasingly popular dance in the United States, especially with the advent of Latin artists such as Mark Anthony, Ricky Martin, Jennifer Lopez and Shakira. When going to a club or ballroom dance, pulsating beat is heard and it moves from the chair to the floor. Even Broadway has been affected by Latin music. For example, the big hit cell block tango in Chicago is doing Latin dancing. We jumped to the music of the old city and finally went to Ace Hardware (the best places in the old city ... they have free popcorn!).
