Ethiopian coffee can grow at an altitude of 550-2750 meters above sea level. However, most of the coffee produced in this country is grown in east, west, and south at altitudes between 1,300 and 1,800 meters. These highlands give a unique flavor to Ethiopian coffee. Coffee cultivated in highlands tends to produce flavors rich in fruits, spices, floral, berries and wine.
