By definition, the picture is "art and science to create images using light" (Lewis). As art, it is definitely affecting the lives of many people As a science, it has made a number of breakthroughs that have promoted our society in a very deep way. But as with all new technological advances, there are always people who oppose it. Along with the development of photographic technology for many years, recognition of society's photographs is clearly becoming more and more negative.
German photographer Auguste Sandel in the early 20th century changed the way people observe society through photography. This is shown in the novel by Richard Bowers "How three farmers go dancing". The use of Thunder photograph of the same name as the novel is the main focus of his story development. In the novel, Bowers created three different scenes and eventually created three different stories throughout the book. Two of the "stories" were greatly influenced by people named Augusto Thunder. In the first part of these inner stories, the narrator is the first person. He is called P -. One day, a picture of three farmers on the way to dancing the first day in Detroit. As he resembles one of the gentlemen, he was soon fascinated by this photo. By creating such a scene, Bowers associates P- to the next "story" in his novel.
