PHOTO ESSAY: A Week in the Life of a Beginning Farmer

Raw Logic Farm began the first season with the Farmer-In-Training program of the Arma C. Lomax incubator farm. Raw Logic Farm is an organic farm specializing in vegetables, run by Chuck Danielka. Chuck Danielka thinks that agriculture should be a logical way to live. Chuck shared his picture as a weekly beginner.

Drive to the farm for water transplant at 5 am, then work in the daytime and return to the farm. The total itinerary of the day is 120 miles round trip, 840 miles a week.

The growing awareness of the contributions of these farmers has influenced the We Feed the World photo project, which is a global exhibition in London this week.
