Sunflower phosphorus deficiency, sunflower Summary: The purpose of this experiment was to determine whether a complete nutrient solution would increase stem width, height and leaf length compared to 25% phosphorus. My hypothesis is that sunflowers containing complete nutrients do the same growth compared to sunflowers with 25% phosphorus deficiency. Experiments were carried out by establishing two sets of sunflower seeds, controls and treatments.

Insufficient nutrient content is a disadvantage. The deficiency may be caused by several reasons including inappropriate nutrient intake known as malnutrition, or any condition that interferes with nutrient utilization in the body. Conditions that may interfere with the use of nutrients include nutrient absorption issues, conditions that result in higher nutrient requirements than usual, conditions that cause nutrient damage, and conditions that result in more nutrient emissions. Nutrients are an essential element of life on Earth. The most important of these nutrients are water, carbon (and oxygen), nitrogen, and phosphorus. These nutrients are recycled throughout the ecosystem to provide organisms. Water accounts for more than two-thirds of the Earth's surface, accounting for about 70% of living things (Pidwirny, 2006). This rich water on the earth becomes the most valuable water with high nutritional value. Water recycling uses water evaporation, condensation and sedimentation of the process to recycle water (Lio, 2008)

Nutrients, especially nitrogen and phosphorus, are essential to help boost the cell quality of algae. Despite discontinuation of today's agriculture in the northern basin of Lake Okeechobee, the soil and wetlands contain enough nutrients from past agricultural activities to supply high nitrogen and phosphorus to Lake Ochi-bee in the past 50 years . Carbon dioxide from sunlight and water contributes to photosynthesis. A relatively mild condition prevents the algae from reaching the sun deeply into the water. However, in shallow waters, the calm environment is not that important. Because algae mixed with water may still have enough light to promote growth.
