Phlebotomy Technician Program

Certified phlebotomists need to acquire units of continuing education or maintain their identity by completing the certification management program. Veinotomy technicians can increase their employability by acquiring approved donor blood collection technicians (DPT) and they allow them to work at the blood collection center

In order to qualify for an American medical technician exam, the exam is awarded the name of registered blood collection technician (RPT) and the applicant must graduate a phlebotomy program containing at least 120 educational clocks. This plan should also be approved by the US Department of Education. The first step in confirming whether you qualify for the AMT exam is to submit the application online and submit transcripts and other necessary documents. If you are interested in acquiring AMT certification, please make sure that at least 50 venipunctures and 10 human skin punctures can be successful with a venipuncture program.
